Ploft Terms of Use

By creating a Ploft account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Who can use Ploft

You must be at least 13 and, in the European Union, old enough to consent to data processing in your country (for example, 14 in Spain).

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure and use a name and @username that don't impersonate anyone. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.

Content you post

Your reviews, photos, group names and added bathrooms are yours. By posting them, you allow Ploft to show that content to other people in the app while it is published.

Zero tolerance for abuse

You may not post:

• offensive, discriminatory, threatening or harassing content;
• photos of people, nudity or any sexual content;
• spam, advertising or deliberately false information;
• other people's personal data.

Anyone can report a review with the flag icon. Reviews with several reports are hidden automatically, and we review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these terms and may suspend or delete the account that posted it.

You can also block someone from their profile or when reporting a review. Blocking ends the friendship, hides their reviews and history from you and stops them from adding you again. To unblock, go to Settings → Blocked people.

Honest check-ins

Don't use fake GPS or other tricks to earn XP or medals. Accounts that cheat may lose points or be suspended.

Ads and purchases

Ploft is free and supported by Google AdMob ads and optional purchases. Finding bathrooms, check-ins, reviews, stats, filters and medals stay free.

• Ploft+ is a monthly or yearly subscription: no ads, bigger groups and one streak saver a month. It renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings (at least 24 hours before renewal). Cancelling takes effect from the next period.
• No ads and bigger groups are one-time purchases. Use "Restore purchases" in the Shop to get them back on another device with the same store.
• Streak savers are consumable: each one covers one day without a check-in so your streak doesn't break. They have no cash value, aren't refundable by Ploft and are lost if you delete your account. Medals only count days with a real check-in.
• Prices are shown in the Shop in your account's currency. Refunds follow Apple's and Google's rules.

No guarantees

Bathroom information comes from the community and from OpenStreetMap and may be out of date. Use common sense: Ploft doesn't guarantee that a bathroom is open, clean or accessible.
